पंजाबी संगीतकार और गीतकार बंटी बैंस, जिन्होंने दिवंगत सिद्धू मूस वाला के करियर को संभाला था, पंजाब के मोहाली में एक रेस्तरां में हत्या के प्रयास से बाल-बाल बच गए। Punjabi music composer and lyricist Bunty Bains, who managed the late Sidhu Moose Wala's career, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt at a restaurant in Mohali, Punjab. हमले के बाद बैंस को एक धमकी भरा फोन आया जिसमें कथित तौर पर कुख्यात गैंगस्टर लकी पटियाल से 1 करोड़ रुपये की फिरौती मांगी गई, जिसका संबंध लॉरेंस बिश्नोई और बंबीहा गिरोह से है। Bains received a threatening phone call demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore after the attack, allegedly from notorious gangster Lucky Patial, who has connections with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Bambiha gangs. गोलीबारी की घटना को लेकर पुलिस की ओर से जांच शुरू कर दी गयी है. An investigation has been initiated by the police in relation to the shooting incident.
