शुक्रवार को तंजानिया के एमबेया क्षेत्र में एक ट्रक दुर्घटना में 11 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 21 घायल हो गए। A truck accident in Tanzania's Mbeya region on Friday resulted in 11 fatalities and 21 injuries. यह वाहन, जो 32 लोगों को लेकर मालिबिज़ी से इलेम्बो जा रहा था, स्थानीय समयानुसार सुबह लगभग 6:45 बजे एक गॉर्ज में पलट गया। The vehicle, carrying 32 people from Mbalizi to Ilembo, overturned into a gorge around 6:45 a.m. local time. स्थानीय अधिकारियों ने रिपोर्ट किया कि ट्रक की कमियों के बावजूद ड्राइवर, यात्रियों द्वारा दबाव डाला गया. Local officials reported that the driver, pressured by passengers, continued driving despite the truck's defects. पाँच व्यक्‍ति इस दृश्‍य में मारे गए, जबकि छः अन्य लोग अस्पताल के मार्ग में चोट पहुँचा रहे थे । Five individuals died at the scene, while six others succumbed to injuries en route to the hospital.
