14 जनवरी को रात करीब 10 बजे चंद्रगिरी में कल्याणी बांध के पास आंध्र प्रदेश सड़क परिवहन निगम की दो बसों की टक्कर में तीस लोग घायल हो गए थे। Thirty people were injured when two Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation buses collided near Kalyani Dam in Chandragiri around 10 pm on January 14. ये बसें तिरुपति, पिलेरू और मदनपल्ले के बीच जा रही थीं। The buses were traveling between Tirupati, Pileru, and Madanapalle. आपातकालीन सेवाओं ने फंसे हुए चालक को बचाया और घायलों को पास के अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया। Emergency services rescued the trapped driver and took the injured to a nearby hospital. दुर्घटना के कारण की अभी भी जांच की जा रही है। The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
